Description

The Mind Medic is a subliminal programming app that is designed to allow the user to program their own positive thought affirmations in their voice and deliver them directly to the subconscious mind. The user records an affirmation that is goal specific, starts the program at bedtime, and the app does the rest. Throughout the night, the app is replaying your recorded affirmation in your voice back to you bypassing conscious mind barriers and allowing for faster results.

Works better than expected

:
The good is that it does just what it indicates. repeats back to you as many as 80 times during the night your positive affirmations. It waits for a while to start so you can get to sleep before starting. I suggest keeping the volume low as it plays back just as a recording would.
The Medium: It would appear at first that you could just make a recording and play it back. This is possibly true it would have to be large, and repeat your message and still give you time to get to sleep, so for $1.99 it really can't be beat.
The Bad: Not really bad as it is suggestions for improvements. 1. I use the iPad as my alarm clock. I need to leave this on, so now I have to use something else as an alarm clock. Add Alarm clock quickly. Just a few sounds is all that is required to start. 2. Have a timer shown on the front as to when the next affirmation is going to play, it's good to know that the program is running other than the pulsing head. 3. Add sleep sounds that could play (maybe at it's own volume setting) in-between affirmations. A few sounds like the ocean, the rain, a brook, a forest. You get the idea. 4. This opens up to the larger audience. I understand through my reading of affirmations that one could also learn from these repeating messages. Great for students, if you could record more than one recording to be played during the night. Those hard to remember things might just be not so hard if you could listen during your sleep.
Conclusion: with updates, that I think are pretty simple, this easily could be the next big sleep app in the store. Good job for a great product that will only get better with time. -Arthur

App is great. $11.99 for affirmations on website

:
The app is great. Does what is advertised. I like Arthur's suggestions although I use Apple's built in alarm clock.

1 gripe I have is a membership on the website is required to view recent affirmations. Another $12 to fork over from the dev's website. Talk about double dipping, no wonder they didn't offer affirmations in app.

4 stars otherwise.

Awesome!

Great job! And I agree with Arthur, those are some good ideas he's got. But I bet you must be super busy with the website! So when you can maybe and are thinking about an update I recommend you add some of Arthurs ideas!(:
